Probably, it's only been out a short time but it's one of my favourite Drake songs already

It’s a cool little hype track but I think the refrain being repeated 3 times throughout the song along with the first half of both verses essentially being the same makes the whole thing feel a little repetitive and tiring

Also not to mention the beat is pretty much on a loop the whole time which adds onto the repetitive feeling overal

I’ve thought this too. However, I can’t tell if it’s a purposeful choice because he understands that that’s what people wanna hear nowadays, or if it’s because he’s losing his ear for standout production

Imo it’s probably a combination of him gradually losing his steam and what the mainstream wanna hear. But there are trap beats that aren’t as repetitive and have more “color” to it
