Revel show is an INSANE pull. Kudos

was also at gov ball 2013 and good music made in america 2012 as some other noteworthy moments.

Ye was such a crucial part of my adolescence and early 20s that I'll always give him the benefit of the doubt because you just can't change what those memories are to me.

the backtrack also is picked up at a disproportionate rate in the live streams from the beginning of the tour and in some of the videos since. it's less something he's reliant on because he doesn't remember words and more something to reinforce the sound at certain parts and help with breath control in others. it goes in and out. I was surprised by this when I saw him in the Netherlands I thought it would be a lot worse based on the SoFi stream.

  • genuinely makes me wanna tear up that he brought out sean

he’s doing just fine without ye but it’s nice to see they’re good after ye’s bullshit comments about signing him

Understandable he feels like that but It's time for people to accept that generally to the public, great art or cultural contributions + not doing whatever in real time anymore usually erases all sins except anything to do with s***pest type s***

For him personally it's understandable but objectively speaking it's futile when people expect people to be consistent with things like that

Generational artists are a lot harder to come by than sane polite people with good morals

  • this nigga has the craziest setlist i’ve ever seen. like he really has a michael jackson level setlist

I like to believe people have the ability to discern that they do not need to fall for FOMO when every decade has produced these 1 of 1 artists if not multiple times for 40+ years

  • Peters disappointed in people but he doesn’t realize some of us would never even care to judge someone based on what concert they went to.

That's not how "1 of 1" works lol

We got Kanye and Wayne but they aren't a replacement for Mike and Pac

    No

Michael Jackson and 2Pac did not "come every decade" lol

Just criticize them and call the cops when necessary no need to pretend artists are disposable because the type of minds that become iconic 1 of 1 artists are usually somewhat off in the head. This is why culture sucks now lol people just lie based on their emotions based on the zeitgeist of that moment lol

So Prince didn’t happen? Barry White? Whitney?
Mariah? before all them James Brown? MJs literal iconic little sister? Ilmatic came out before Me Against The World. Em and Jay don’t exist? “The big 3” never happened? I could deadass keep going, artist like Kanye come often lol

I promise we will be okay when Kanye’s time is done like we were when all those other amazing artists who could be considered 1 of 1 for their genre and time were

I'm not gonna say you're wrong. I'm generally on top of not supporting people or businesses that go against my morals. If he was playing that hateful bs I wouldn't think twice about going, that's a hard no. But if he's playing the music that meant so much to me growing up I want to experience that. None of us are perfect, in the grand scheme of things if my biggest moral failure this year is seeing a Kanye show I think I can sleep at night

he played HH live in asia

None of these people replace the other

It's like saying you don't need pasta to exist because we have rice. Both great but both have their own purposes. I'm not eating Alfredo rice nigga lol. In some cases it's completely different comparisons like because we have butter we don't need steak. Lmaoo it don't work like that

who said replace? I said once people accept that it’s time to move on from the 50 year old like those who have after slavery/nazi/cousin, we collectively as a hiphop society will be okay as new 1 of 1s will appear like they always have
