Carti is a direct result of a young kid who loved Future, Chief Keef and Young Thug growing up, just like Yeat is. They both take those influences and use them in different ways, at least to me. I have never heard a Carti song like Rollin, Smooktober, Call Me, Nvr Again, Dnt Lie, Taliban, etc.

They've literally even rapped on similar beats before (F1LTHY prod) and approach the beat in completely different ways (Yeat - Got Rich vs. Carti - Rockstar Made)
