He has used Kendrick as bait before. A number of times. Which honestly only proves more that it isn't TDE's fault that people still continue to fall for this. Like they can fool you once or twice with it...but it's gotta be the fourth or fifth time by now. If you falling for the same pump fake a fifth time what does that tell you?

Corny on TDE's part for tricking their fans in the past, but in this instance they ain't even say or hint at which artist was dropping. They could not be more ambiguous and there was really nothing to go off of to believe Kendrick was dropping. If people saw that tweet and ran with it being a Kendrick drop (even though Kendrick has his own artist he's prepping to drop soon) that's entirely on fans.

And I agree with you, I posted the day of his announcement that you would be a fool for thinking it’s Kendrick because they would give more care and thoughtfulness into his drop compared to whatever this is, this type of thing is only reserved for the other guys

But maybe people are more inclined to believe because it just feels like Kendrick and SZA haven’t dropped in so long. They’re more expecting, I dunno

But as I mentioned a post or 2 ago, even Reason said he was getting s*** over this announcement because people thought he was being used to trick them again. It’s not on TDE if the audience makes an assumption, but when their own artists are having to go on a big radio show and tell people to stop blaming them, it is on TDE to help clarify in my opinion
