Ive always said Punch is there to take the hits (pun intended) when their artists are delaying s*** and this is further proof to it.

This is why Punch plays up to it, seems he would rather take the blame so the artist doesn’t get heat for it

I remember the ‘backlash’ he endured for holding sza’s music ‘hostage’ then she released CTRL after getting signed to a major publishing deal and the rest was history.

If anything, TDE might allow TOO much creative control cos now we’re in a position as fans where we havent heard anything from them for so long. But i dont blame artists, cos touring/album merch is where the money is, not the 0.5% they get from streams
