a ww3 scenario is pretty unlikely cus china is too neutral, russia is too weak, can't speak on pakistan but without the other two it doesn't matter

its simply not worth china and russia's time and resources to step up and defend iran

    Nothing ever happens

The implications of open US involvement in this specific region rn is not minute

More leaders will have things to say/do than you’d expect

World been split into 2 sides for decades and it’s more apparent now than ever

It’s the west and it’s the east.

Politically there hasnt been polarization like this in my lifetime.

The polarization was there it just wasn’t publicized until BRICS talks began

The thin line holding the world together seemingly as one is the global use of the US dollar. That line gets thinner by the day and if these nations decided to ban the US dollar it’ll be clear as ever who stands where

Proof of the US being terrified of that scenario is in the Ghaddafi chapter of recent history

no, Iraq was a failure and the US won't repeat that blunder. the move nowadays is balkinization/failed state Libya model. it won't work in Iran though so the US will once again, start some s*** that will blow up in their face.

I disagree in russias case. Iran is there foothold in the middle east. I dont think theyll just quietly let the US destabilize it

I feel like s*** went down once the Ukrainan war started. Cuz everyone was dealing with communist/socialist countries through trade but at the end russia pulling the plug on Ukraine just made everyone pick a side and not be lukewarm

While that’s true, it started years before that

Shifts like this take a whole lot of time to play out. Ukraine was definitely a catalyst tho
