IRGC is different too than the loyalists of Saddam or Gaddafi. It’s ideological and it’s stemmed in a belief system, whether others agree with them or not. They number millions. This idea that because of bombings and assassinations that they’re going to turn a new leaf, lay down their arms, and abandon their entire identity and belief system is a fundamental misunderstanding of the dynamics in Iran.
