I don’t understand why it’s so hard for any anti-imperialist to grasp why one would stand in solidarity with the only, literally the ONLY, state on this earth that refuses to turn its back on palestine, even facing death

Unrelated but it’s fascinating WHY the Arab nations refuse to stand for or even house Palestinians

I’m Egyptian so this conflict was often brought up in my everyday life and I’ve realized the sentiment is generally “Palestinians are dirty and desperate people”

They view them as an annoying liability as opposed to fellow members of the Ummah. The wealthy middle eastern bunch (Saudis Qataris etc) will even go as far as considering Israelis “blood relatives” and Palestinians as the settlers lol. Blows my mind

Ofc this isn’t the mindset of the majority but it IS the mindset of the ones that are in control and co

why do I have to support every single thing that happened in iran since 1979 in order to support iran currently?

yes after the revolution they consolidated power, that’s not unique to iran. there’s a purge after nearly every revolution. they were anti-us and anti-soviet and they saw tudeh as a potential fifth column.

all that said, I don’t approve of the purge, but that’s not going to prevent me from supporting the axis of resistance fully. my family is from south lebanon, it wouldn’t have been liberated without the help of the IRGC.

the PFLP calls iran “comrades” and “blood brothers”

Okay, I am not asking you to condemn Iran like Im some Israeli. I am saying that to support a country full throatily is foolish. But I will not fault you in how you feel, I just have a different opinion than you and wish not to be treated like some Zionist Liberal because I don’t “support” a state that has it’s fair share of problems tbh.

If you read what I said, you’d see I think that supporting Iran’s actions and even the state is fine as a liberator entity but it’s still a State that suppresses some of it’s own population in order to empower themselves. But I understand why you may feel like it’s not appropriate to speak on this while they are being attacked by the Bipolarity. Still I wont fall for propaganda of any state. Its foolish.

I do value @shadow374 and @ryunyusef ’s opinions on these topics though even if we disagree on certain things. We all want Iran to not be toppled by Americans and Israeli’s, for Palestine to have what’s rightfully their’s and for America & Israel to fall.

iran has issues without question, but i think what resonates with me above all else is that it’s a unique state in how much it’s motivated by principle rather than pure pragmatism. it could normalize tomorrow, get sanctions lifted, end the bombings and assassinations, and integrate itself into the global order. the immense burden on iran could be lifted if it were willing to trade away palestine.

sayyid ali khamenei was a man of principle. he lived modestly. he spoke with real humility. he never bent the knee despite the pressure he faced. he died among his people, not hiding in a bunker.

for all its flaws, it is a state that believes in something beyond self-preservation and is willing to endure suffering for its beliefs. in the modern context, that’s truly rare.

love it or hate it, iran is one of the only states today that openly operates according to an ideological vision of the world rather than purely material self-interest. whether people agree with that vision or not, it’s a state that clearly believes it stands for something. for that reason, I guess I have a soft spot for it

💯 we’re on the same side

  • it's hard to believe that there are americans who support this warmongering. these people are just hypnotized and delusional. months ago, the president of the U.S. publicly told the president of Ukraine that he is gambling with WW3. now look who is gambling with WW3. we are all just collateral. there are no talks of nuclear disarmament among those who possess weapons of mass destruction (nukes, not f***ing FENTANYL). just strength, strength, and more strength. we have so many nuclear warheads that it's become pointless now. if any are used, it's moot. who is allied with the United States anymore? why would any country come to our aid for anything?

Certain users itt are so Pro-Iran that they cannot see the obvious contradictions in its makeup and then when we point them out, they get fanatical and bad faith.

I hope that Iran survives this and crushes as much of Israel as they can while destroying every US base in the area.

The People should decide their fates and if they want the damn Ayatollah then so be it, and if they don’t then great. It should not be the Imperialists deciding the fate of any nation.

I am a pan-africanist, i obviously oppose the genocidal, enslaving, mass-exploiting state of America and its partner Israel.

Watch this getting liked by the biggest libtards itt so they could continue their ‘aw it’s all so complicated!’ spiel

But he is at least reaching people who need to hear it and using his platform to make an impact. He also does hella activist work so all in all I don’t care it he hits on jokes rn.
