A lot of this does trace back to whiteness.
And its worthwhile to reflect on where the concept of 'whiteness' came from and how that heavily influenced class lines, segregation, chattel slavery which in large built economic systems into what they are today amongst other labor
That contradiction still hasn't really been solved or remedied much at all in comparison to what has been extracted/stolen
