Wish we got an update on this story. One of the loose ends that were forgotten completely. Bahrain came across as the most aggressive and oppressive side nations in the conflict earlier this year.

Not the best source but there is precedent with Bahrain using foreign troops to quell domestic unrest.

Only reason why Trump has been moving so anti-Israel lately is because he perceives that they are screwing him over personally.

I'm not familiar with Gadi Eisenkot (currently first) but Naftali Bennett (currently third) is just as bad. He has longstanding connections with both parties. Seems like Trump and his crew are looking to move on too

There’s an underground base under the ridge. Valuable strategic territory (similar to Beaufort Castle which was sieged last week). IDF have drones all over the area so I’m guessing they target anyone who is over the ridge. Doubt any civilians at this point go near it considering how long this battle has been going.
