At the blessings and request of @CutiePieHole and @sab, we will be transitioning threads to hopefully keep things more frequently updated. Salutes to @CutiePieHole for making the OG thread and for handing the baton to me. This is a work in progress as I am at work today. I will continue to post updates in the thread itself, and will compile highlights from each front of the war in OP and the first post. Please feel free to tag me if there is something you would like to be added, and bear with me while I work on getting everything set up.
Please take the time to educate yourself before mindlessly talking about not knowing much about it, how "complicated" it is, or getting off any hot takes talking about "both sides". This is a good starting place:

Hundred Years War on Palestine - Rashid Khalidi (available as free audiobook on DSPs)
Timeline:
On 10/7/23 Hamas resistance fighters fired barrages of rockets into southern and central "israel" in a surprise attack, and crossed the border fence in several locations, infiltrating Israeli settler communities and military bases. At least 236 hostages, consisting of settlers and "israeli" military personnel were taken.
On 10/8/23, "israel" invoked Article 40 Aleph for the first time since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, formally declaring war on Palestine
To date, about 110 hostages have been released. A four day ceasefire was brokered on 11/24/23 for their release, in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel
at least 3 hostages have been killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces themselves. The remaining hostages are primarily IOF military personnel, who Hamas says they will not consider releasing unless a full ceasfire is achieved and all Palestinian prisoners are freed.
Note: Israel holds thousands of Palestinian prisoners under what it calls "Administrative Detention", which allows them to hold people indefinitely, without charges.
🟢 Gaza:
To date, over 23,000 people have been killed by the IOF, the vast majority of whom are civilians, women, and children. 70% of all residential buildings in Gaza have been destroyed.
The IOF has mostly pulled out of Northern Gaza for the time being, while bombings in central and southern Gaza intensify, despite these being the "safe zones" Palestinians were told to flee to
With the limited amount of aid and fuel coming into Gaza, the healthcare system in Gaza has effectively collapsed and many have passed due to not being able to receive proper medical treatment. In addition to widespread starvation, the spread of infectious diseases has increased.
Multiple Palestinian factions continue fierce armed resistance against the Zionist entity. These include Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas armed wing), Al Quds Brigade (Palestinian Islamic Jihad armed wing), Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades (PFLP armed wing), and the Mujahideen Brigades. I will make some posts in the thread detailing the various resistance groups in Gaza at a later time.
1/13/24: reports coming in that the settlers recently armed by the Zionist entity are working with the IOF to form formal militias, and are currently being deployed on the borders of Gaza
🟡 West Bank:
Will put more details in here later, but as you can imagine things have continued to escalate in the West Bank, particularly in the areas of Jenin and Tulkarem
Upon freeing Palestinian prisoners as part of the initial hostage deal, the IOF showered gatherings of people welcoming them home with pepper bombs
Notably, support for Hamas in the West Bank appears to be growing, with some polls reporting a threefold increase in support. Hamas flags have begun to appear at demonstrations in the West Bank, something basically unthinkable 3 months ago.
on 1/15/24, Haaretz reported that units were being transferred from Gaza to the West Bank in anticipation of escalation there
🟡🟢 Occupied North Palestine (Lebanon, Hezbollah)
Hezbollah and the Zionist entity began exchanging sporadic fire on 10/8/23. While initially limited, Hezbollah appeared to be methodically targeting "israeli" surveillance equipment and logistical outposts, likely in preparation in the event a larger scale war breaks out on this front. 80% of settlers in Occupied Northern Palestine have been forced to flee as a result.
Following the extrajudicial murder of a Hamas official in Beirut, Hezbollah has increased the intensity of their strikes, targeting military bases and infrastructure of the Zionist entity's settlements.
Recently leaked US intelligence states that "israel" would be unlikely to win in a full blown war against Hezbollah
🇾🇪 ⚪️🟢🔴 Yemen, Red Sea:
Yemen has now declared all US & UK interests to be legitimate military targets
On 1/12/24, Tesla and Volvo announced suspensions of production in Europe due to Red Sea attacks.
🇮🇷 🇸🇾 🇮🇶 other Axis of Resistance Fronts:
the Islamic Resistance in Iraq had carried out numerous strikes against US bases in Syria, as well as targets in Occupied Palestine. Recently, they began using advanced cruise missiles
the Zionist entity has engaged in sporadic strikes against Syria, including the Damascus International Airport
On 1/12/24, Iran seized an oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman back from the US, which was previously seized by the US about a year ago.
On 1/14/24, Al-Qasaam spokesman Abu Obeida stated that the Axis of Resistance plans to “expand strikes on all fronts” in the coming days

I arrived at the ICJ quite early with one other person, we tried our luck in getting in but people been camping in front since 2am
Thursday the pro Palestine demonstrators werent allowed to get the space in front of the ICJ, zionists did, but today it was reversed
At another location where we followed the hearing live on a big screen we were told the police wanted us to leave and go to another location where there was also a screen, further away from the ICJ. Their reason seems to have been that we were too loud and that the zionazis could hear us from in front of the ICJ
But we said nah f*** it and we ended up staying there and the police didnt intervene
Overall the atmosphere was great, more hopeful than most other protests bc we were seeing zionists get cucked live on tv. It was something, the march after was rly great. Too, we walked past a bunch of embassies as well
Here’s some good overviews of the various resistance groups fighting in Gaza and the West Bank. The groups coordinate through the Joint Operations Room, founded in 2006 by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Big shout out to Resistance News Network for making these
🇾🇪 Yemeni Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi:
—
We are ready for deterrence, response, and the upper hand in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea belongs to Yemen.
The longer the war on our people in Gaza lasts, the more surprises we have, which will appear at the time chosen by the leadership.
We say to those in our seas, islands, and all Yemeni geography that the stages of guardianship, dominance, and dependency are buried and gone forever. A new Yemen has emerged, fully sovereign and willful in owning its national decision.
Addressing the enemy: We urge you to leave the region and not resort to fabricating excuses and baseless justifications. Our hands are on the trigger, and our morale is stronger and firmer than steel.
We have repeatedly warned that the Red Sea has become forbidden for the zionist enemy entity.
We only target "israeli" enemy ships or those supporting it or heading towards it.
We affirm that the rest of the world's ships passing through the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea are safe, secured, and will not be harmed in any way.

Iran seizes oil tanker involved in US-Iran dispute in Gulf of Oman
DUBAI, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Iran seized a tanker with Iraqi crude destined for Turkey on Thursday in retaliation for the confiscation last year of the same vessel and its oil by the U.S., Iranian state media reported, a move likely to stoke regional tensions.
The seizure of the Marshall Islands-flagged St Nikolas coincides with weeks of attacks by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi militias targeting Red Sea shipping routes.
"After the theft of Iranian oil by the United States last year, St Nikolas tanker was seized by Iran's Navy this morning with a judicial order ... it is en route to Iranian ports," the semi-official Fars news agency reported, citing a statement by the Navy.

🚨 A resistance shooting operation took place at the "Adora" settlement in #AlKhalil following an infiltration by a group of resistance fighters, where at least two settler casualties are confirmed, according to zionist sources.
An armed clash is reportedly taking place now. Settlers are asked to remain locked inside until further notice.

🇮🇶 Islamic Resistance in Iraq:
In continuation of our path in resisting the American occupation forces in Iraq and the region, and in response to the massacres of the zionist entity against our people in Gaza, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked the occupation base at the Conoco field in the depths of Syria with a barrage of missiles.
The Islamic Resistance confirms its continuation in striking the enemy's strongholds.
