Has anyone ever experienced real, deep issues with one or both of their parents? How do you work through forgiving someone who doesn’t think they’ve done anything wrong?

Can’t forgive someone who doesn’t see the err in their ways

I guess u get old and eventually come to terms with it like everyone else I don’t want anything to do with them for now though

My parents are the worst people i've ever met by a large margin, the forgiveness is internal for my own wellbeing. outside of that i keep it cordial help where i can and yeah f*** em

if u rlly wanna repair s***, try ur hardest to see where they are coming from, even if their perspective might seem totally alien to you.

It’s tough navigating through it can’t even lie. My only advice i can give is to still be nice to them during this process, don’t lose your manners etc;
