Apr 7, 2020tbh you have a point his first two albums were near-completely produced by Flylo too, but they still didn't quite feel like "album statements" the same way Flylo albums did.
I do think Flylo had much more input here really structuring etc, it feels better sequenced/paced and a bit more cohesive than Drunk imo where Flylo just did some additional work on beats by a lot of different producers.
I definitely think their collaborative partnership blossomed over time, like they got better at trusting and serving each other. I also just think Cat's songwriting and singing got much better over time.
