I honestly liked old KTT the most when it was dying. It was quieter and more peaceful and the few people that were left really cared about the community and that made it feel more wholesome as opposed to the chaotic and toxic vibes the site was giving off when it was the most active.

I think I would rather be a small forum with smart people who encourage diverse viewpoints than a big forum full of gatekeeping and drama.

The frivolous banning and the undertones of where you cant really think outside of whatever the current zeitgeist is did a lot to kill this site

All that said, this is still the last forum with a bunch of blog era/SoundCloud era 90’s babies on it and active so f*** it we here until inevitably something else outside of social media and Reddit pops up

if there was an editorial section i’d be so much more motivated to write out another guide(s) on here and thinkpieces and im sure a load of people would feel the same way, instead of dudes vying for likes and saying “im not reading allat” in those sorts of threads
