It really is unlike any other “Hip Hop” album I’ve ever heard, if you can even truly call it that. It almost feels like too narrow of a description at this point but I really do consider it a monumental accomplishment within the genre in general. I absolutely love how contemporary it sounds while also being an album you can’t really easily timestamp and it’s why I think 10 years from now it’ll sound just as fresh as it does today. I actually think it might be his Opus. It’s as creatively bold, honest, and expressive of an album as any other you’ll find anywhere else. Cudi in his most virtuosic essence of the style he originated. For all those pushing along on their own personal heroes journey, Love it!

Ive been saying this since the first day it dropped and i’ll say it again. This is the real MOTM 3 to me

I liked the actual MOTM 3 but PPDS is the only album that in quality front to back and soundscape wise deserves to be in the same realm as the first two MOTM albums

Rose Golden, Swim in the Light, ILLusions, Does It, Wounds, Frequency, Mature Nature

I can go on and on, the music on this album is incredible and truly timeless like you said OP

Drogas Light is mid af especially compared to the masterpiece that is Drogas Wave

I just remember it being super poppy it reminded me of an updated Lasers tbh

And it especially fell short for me since its pretty much crammed in between his two best albums imo
