real for vamos a la playa even tho it isnt really italopop
it does fall under italo disco tho
This sounds so ahead of its time
The cover seems inspired by the "aeropittura" art style of the Italian Futurist era and seeing how Antonio Sant'Elia's works were featured in Righeira's music it's not far off
now i KNOW you all came here for this
I like a lot of this style. In fact, I love this group Change. This production & writing duo came over from uh Italy to NYC and then they worked with Luther Vandross early on.
They had such great vocalists
And then they did half a lp with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis
Which is funny because then Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis sampled Change's Glow of Love for Janet for All for You Must have been paying daps to them.
What a great group though. Now I dont know if you would call them Italo Disco because they did follow the style and sound of Chic a bit in the intro. who wouldn't? But they really have some great anthems we could keep going down the list.
This skip groove is mean though
This is actually going to be one of my drop's. Luther floats on t his s***. That guitar is so deadly.
