I never said he was the goat athlete my posts were just in response to him discounting them just cause they played soccer.
But even then soccer isn't 1:1 with football or basketball, world cups are just one of the factors that make a great player.
I mean both of them have won around 30 titles, just not a world cup. Also world cups are harder to win, the player with the highest wins is pele and he only won 3.
Messi or Ronaldo also both been playing at a high level for almost 2 decades now
