But it’s all our fault for putting decades of harsh sanctions on them, it’s obvious as soon as NK relinquishes tbeir strategic weapons we would topple them like we mercilessly did to Ghaddafi (who was completely innocent and only out for the goodwill of his people)

Korea is resorce rich and they have a population that’s willing to work hard to industrialize, the reason they haven’t is because they’re effectively blocked from international commerce

Well the US didn't just make threats, they actually did it.

You can criticize the North Korean government for a bunch of things, their distrust and animosity towards the US is not one of those things.

People really have no idea about how brutal the US was in the Korean war, and if they do, they just don't care.

Korea wouldn't even have split up if it wasn't for the US.

  • Crazy how you’re actually trying to justify the actions of the most disgusting oppressive regime operating today.

So what you’re saying is the regime relinquishing power would lead to the lessening of sanctions which would in turn end the starvation of North Korea’s people. In that case seems like KJU is choosing power over the welfare of his country’s citizens.

correct me if I'm wrong, but are saying the global south should choose their leaders and policies and the whims of western countries? Honestly this is the sort of mentality slavers and conoialists held, their subjagation of others are for the good of the oppressed

They threatened the US for decades and chose to put their money into nukes instead of their people... The Korean War was terrible but it was 70 years ago. Imagine if we still hated the Germans because of world war 2

Well obviously the problem in North Korea is that, as dictatorships tend to go, its people aren’t “choosing” anything lol.
