This masterpiece came out 25 years ago today, and it’s unfortunate that X isn’t here to celebrate it because it’s an amazing debut album: angry, dark, depressing but still full of hope and a glimpse into a man’s struggle with his faith. So give it a spin if you’ve got some time, especially if you’ve never heard it! And RIP DMX always. 🙏
