Time to resume my campaign against flies, mosquitoes, and gnats getting in my house when I open the doors and windows. Looking for assistance on how best to combat them.

Legitimately thinking about seeing if I can cop 4 or so Venus Fly Traps.

Apple cider + dishwashing liquid in small bowls with tiny openings.

What are other effective options? Is there another @plants -based solution?

i got a citronella candle going like all season long in my house

i also screen my front porch/veranda in with tulle/mosquito netting and that helps to keep them from getting in the house since my house tiny and only has the one front door.

make sure the screens in all your windows fit perfect and don't have any small holes

if im tryna chill outside i slap on some deet tho, i cant do the natural remedy solution everywhere cuz the bugs just dont give a F***

venus fly traps only catch 3-4 bugs per trap before that trap dies off. and it takes days for them to digest the bug. so that is not a good method at all.

Nah spiders kind of cool tbh. They're like a spec ops unit...they stay out of the way and wipe out the enemy. Hardly ever see em, just evidence they were there

This is like year 7 of war with em. Campaign through Spring-Summer, then they return to that hellscape they call home during Fall-Winter. I'm considering writing an epic of this conflict

Nah one spider can eat tons of other annoying bugs

Those crazy thousand-leggers also do that, but they're too fast for my liking so they get squished

As someone who has lived his entire life in Florida, I could say that this cold front was a nice change of pace and wish it would happen more often.

    Without long-term consequences of course.
