Amendments to the 2009 Marketing Act make it illegal for influencers to share retouched photos of their body in promotional posts on social media, without acknowledging the image has been edited.

Okay but how are they gonna enforce it to influencers? Is it strictly for influencers from Norway?

intentions are in the right place but this won’t help at all since it’s only enforced in norway.

and there’s no clear cut way to tell if photos have been altered

You'd be surprised how bad some of them are (or the people they hire). All it takes is one curvy table or tile line to expose them. For celebrities at red carpet events sometimes the photographers will post the original on their account and it will look completely different than the one from the celebrity's own post.

    I guess.

People from Norway can follow people from all over the world who don't have to comply with the law. So that makes it not that effective.

    real

If I'm not mistaken influencers from the US have to disclose if their post is an ad. And plenty of times people don't do it lol. So I guess this could end up the same.
