It’s like he has been saying he was in a dark place when all those singles came out last year, and the fact he is saying I was sleep now I’m woke. Like he might never rap a verse off Yeezus again live if he sticks to this change. I honestly wonder what his perspective on those albums are now that he has fully converted.

Think about how often Ye has made a complete 180. He must be dizzy

But srsly, he's the greatest artist of all time

He thinks his previous work is negative as if we take his content at face value.

That’s what I’m saying, knowing he isn’t at that part in his life makes it harder to listen to it. It’s the complete opposite of where he is at now. It’s like listening to him before he changed his life around.

His development is fascinating though. He's developing as an artist and as a person. And if you listen to his previous albums you find lots of signs that this is the life he was hoping for. And many ways JIK is a logical follow up to his previous albums.

Yea I guess that makes more sense, it’s all about perspective rather than listening to someone “sinning” (I’m not religious but I mean for his POV)

Part of the reason I love God Is so much. It feels like a culmination.
