I saw this discussion on twitter too OP
But no, it’s not Wale

Fab is top 5. LL, Mase and Drake got it over him tho.
B****es don’t care though cause the dude’s ugly.
Drake out here putting out trash, but b****es love it cause he’s got a pretty face.
Do women really think Wale is ugly?
I think he looks better than Drake. Both of them are conventionally attractive really, although Drake has been looking rough lately

Bro idk, but women are obsessed with Drake. Prior to the beard, bro looked like a catfish with down syndrome
Do women even f*** with Wale like that??
I feel the only ones that care about Wale are early 30s men
Yes, they 10000% do.
It's time to put some respect on Wale's name, this man is consistent as hell. Say what you will about his albums as a whole (even tho everything is a lot is hard af), this man knows how to work his poetry skills when talking to the ladies. The beats are always high quality, often times sampling classic R&B and his flows match the production perfectly. This man is poetic as f***, coming up with basic but complex ways to illustrate intimacy between two people from the comfort that comes from quality time and conversation to actual sex. I still laugh when I think of the Joe Budden's line from the BET cypher where he says he'll shoot you and have Wale read a poem at your funeral. S***s a joke but the drop of real honesty in there is not many people do poetry better than Folarin
I wont even go in depth on how he also collabs with the best, from SZA, to Ant Clemons and more. If he ain't the best rapper making songs for the women he's at least top 3.
And before anyone comes in here talking about Drake, he sings to women and barely raps to them at this point. Not to mention his raps towards women tend to be pretty misogynistic over the last decade(or taking straight up shots). Wale always been respectful on his tracks
I love how the premise of this post is that Wale isn't misogynistic in his songs about women lmao.
“Songs for women” is such an odd concept to me in 2025 I feel like it’s actually just r&b songs, romantic songs, or songs for guys that make feel safe and smooth enough to play around women cuz they r nervous and don’t wanna f*** up
B****es don’t care though cause the dude’s ugly.

In my experience Drake isn’t up there in lusted for celebs by women tbh
I’ve never met a guy irl that says he a wale fan but I’ve dated two women that had fw his music. They would put it on in the car and s***
It’s a good point
The unfortunate truth about wale is that he would’ve been huge if he was marketed differently.
If he had stayed in that indie route and not signed to Rick Ross he would’ve been at least where Cudi landed career wise maybe even further.

He wouldve been broke without all those drake and ross feats

No Hands & MMG saved him from fading away like the other blog rappers that didn’t catch on mainstream after Attention Deficit flopped/got him dropped off Interscope

Wale's career arc and trajectory have more to do with him as a musician than any labels he signed at or any marketing or lack thereof he didn't receive.

I can’t be mad at this. Fab had the songs for ladies that were actual hits too. I’d say I’m more referring to wale being the best of the current generation rather than the greatest of all time with songs for women. Fab was more 2000-2013 and is pretty much an unknown today regarding the new generation.
LL def in the top 3 for me tho. I wasn’t present for Mase run so I can’t say with certainty how I’d rank him. I only went through his discog once and that was over a decade ago
Drake Jcole Wale
I might be splitting hairs but I feel like Cole is more a relatable artists that makes songs about relatable experiences rather than being known for a song that’s like “play this for the girl you like” or “this song embodies how you make me feel.”
For every workout or Deja vu there’s a wet dreamz or crooked smile which are more generalized experiences or supportive of women instead of talking about “loving” women if you know what I mean.
He def has songs for women, I just wouldn’t slot him into the top people for that
