Take y'all feelings/personal taste out of the equation
We talking objective, almost quantifiable facts here.
Rick Ross is one more solid album away from Top 20
He highkey one of the most consistent rappers OAT
op really wanted to put the guy that made this song on top 5
One of the best written songs of all time. The emotions, the story telling... Beautiful

Almost flawless discography, ngl.
Flawless beat selection too.

Top 5 song OAT
One of the best written songs of all time. The emotions, the story telling... Beautiful
the rampant rage, eminem screaming "DIE BIATCH DIE!", eminem bodybagging his wife, such an atmosphere was never seen before
We need to add a dislike button for some of these
Blasphemous posts.
@team we need a thumbs down next to the heart 😂

It"s always hilarious when people try to trash the song because of the content.
The song is perfection, you can hear the pain in his voice, the betrayal he felt. He was in pain when he wrote this song.
When people claim that music is all about making "hits" aka making female dance, that's when they lose all credability to me.
Remove Eminem first b****
music didn't age great but he is the easiest shoe-in for this list ever
I mean i could never replace Biggie with Kanye,
But, the amount of work biggie put in doesn't qualify him as a top 5 IMO. Sure he had the quality of a GOAT but never had the chance to prove it.
I'd rather see Kendrick tossed in there,
Same list but switch Kanye with Kendrick ✊
Biggie would destroy Kendrick’s weak bars in a song
Legendary artist, no doubt.
One of the best pens and minds in hip-hop history, yes.
Written some of the most iconic songs OAT, yes.
But there are tons more artists that fit that criteria and more, and no offence, at this point he's only on the list because of his untimely passing.
Drake and Kanye have done enough for hip-hop to take his place.
With that said:
Universal Top 5
1. Pac
Discography is decent, but he's larger than life at this point.
2. Nas
Seminal works and has continued to remain relevant and drop decent albums
3. Jay Z
I'll argue with anyone that most of his discography is mid but he's cemented himself in pop culture as a political powerhouse and his wife is Beyonce Plus, y'all like his music for some reason.
4. Eminem
Seminal works, still relevant, pen still sharp as hell although y'all hate his music for some reason
5. Kanye West
Some or the greatest rap records of all time, unparalleled influence on pop culture
HM: Drake, Missy Elliot, Wayne, Snoop
You off the rails
Biggie is better than Pac so he top 3 definitely
Hm: Drake, Kanye, 50 Cent, Rakim, DMX, Eminem, Wu Tang
eminem and pac deserve the spot and not big? lol
Not saying i agree but they have more classics if we being real. Ofc cause Big died but still.. cant keep him forever top 5 cause of that. He couldve ended up like Snoop or worse udk
Kanye's last few albums have flopped. So how sway?
Best discog in rap. And donda hard af
