It"s always hilarious when people try to trash the song because of the content.
The song is perfection, you can hear the pain in his voice, the betrayal he felt. He was in pain when he wrote this song.
When people claim that music is all about making "hits" aka making female dance, that's when they lose all credability to me.

I mean i could never replace Biggie with Kanye,
But, the amount of work biggie put in doesn't qualify him as a top 5 IMO. Sure he had the quality of a GOAT but never had the chance to prove it.
I'd rather see Kendrick tossed in there,

Legendary artist, no doubt.
One of the best pens and minds in hip-hop history, yes.
Written some of the most iconic songs OAT, yes.
But there are tons more artists that fit that criteria and more, and no offence, at this point he's only on the list because of his untimely passing.
Drake and Kanye have done enough for hip-hop to take his place.
With that said:
Universal Top 5
1. Pac
Discography is decent, but he's larger than life at this point.
2. Nas
Seminal works and has continued to remain relevant and drop decent albums
3. Jay Z
I'll argue with anyone that most of his discography is mid but he's cemented himself in pop culture as a political powerhouse and his wife is Beyonce Plus, y'all like his music for some reason.
4. Eminem
Seminal works, still relevant, pen still sharp as hell although y'all hate his music for some reason
5. Kanye West
Some or the greatest rap records of all time, unparalleled influence on pop culture
