Is the show worth it? There's a lot of episodes. I like anime with a more mature tone. Like the opposite of hero academia

Bleach was the first major shonen anime that felt more like a seinen.

It gets pretty dark for shonen standards, not like hunter x hunter or attack on titan levels but pretty close.

Tone wise It’s like OG naruto and first seasons of shippuden

Story wise it’s pretty cool, the characters and powers are the main thing, just skip all the filler arcs and it comes out to like 200 episodes or so, so not bad
