Not your fault or the driver. DD made it a double order when commissioned to cover for someone in this thread who didn’t wanna tip.

Tip for everyone in this thread who don’t tip, drivers get savvy when it comes to cheapskates and decline all those $2-3 orders with ease. DoorDash started taking notice of this and their solution was offering double orders. More money for the dasher and the cheap ass gets their food to them quicker than they normally would. That unfortunately f***s over the people who don’t deserve it like you who tips $10.

To not sound suspicious when support ask me whether I’d like a refund or redelivery of the “missing items” I go “ummmmm what delivery windows do you have?” And they’ll usually say a few hours from now until end of day and I say “oh damn I have work in a bit, just go ahead and refund it I’ll try and pick ‘em up from the grocery store on my way home”

There are some drivers out there that don’t give a f***, have a piss poor work ethic, and don’t deserve a tip. If your order comes out f***ed after you gave a good tip because of the driver, you have every right to revoke that tip.. But if that driver did a good job giving you the order and you remove the tip after that? You’re f***ing scum. A terrible person.

With Amazon Prime many of these items are delivered within 2 days, including on Sunday. Some items are even available for same day delivery. I personally recommend the annual Prime plan, no need to worry about when the monthly charge will be deducted and you save money with the annual plan.
