Close to $100 a day
Nice, that's some good pocket change for sure. Do you also live in a city too? Because I'm going to be moving to a pretty busy metro area this summer (don't want to dox myself) but I think they have those bikes you can scan and use. Might have to do the deliveries with those.
I managed to pay my rent off Uber eats and doordash couple years ago

I live in the surrounding metro area. So not in the heart of the big city, but 10-12 miles from it. And it’s a perfect situation because I still have the business without the hassle of working in downtown traffic.

Real. I also respect that even though you don’t tip, you atleast go and pick it up yourself. Which is the reasonable thing to do.

Hey that's good stuff right there. You do it as a little side thing right?

Did you usually get good tips doing it?

Yeah I tried to pick up and deliver as quick as possible

By car? Bike? Walking?

2-3 hours a day yeah. Sometimes 3-4 if I’m really getting the momentum and money going. Hardest part is just getting into the rhythm.
Car
Right on. For me: I probably won't have my car so it's gonna just be walking or bike. But also the distance will be much shorter too
People itt resorting to dehumanizing to justify not tipping
Weirdos fr. Doesn’t even have to be a big tip, 3-4 dollars is enough on those services to make it worthwhile.
i give them 0 stars every single time, most the time i say they stole my food too to get credits. these people are the bottom barrel of society and deserve to be treated that way

That's some good side money. Gonna take the advice and probably do this during the summer when off from work and have some free time. Especially when it comes to these tips. Some areas will probably tip really well, especially if you stay within the boundaries of a few higher end restaurants.

Exactly
Just use common sense, be aware that you are working within the system that does not want you to succeed above expectations, and always be polite to the customers that deserve it. Kindness goes a long way.

Same.
Was going out to nearby areas with a higher income, larger properties, and active town centers as a DoorDash and Postmates driver.
A very solid side hustle at the time.

Absolutely! It's not even you vs. the customer it sounds like it's you vs. the application. The more higher quality deliveries you make, the better the tips will be!
