I like the song but here's a paragraph on why I hate his guts!

it's a more refreshing perspective than either pure hate or pure glaze

yeah, i cant help but feel like the new song just comes off as " all my old buddies are against me now" and dude doesn't say, " Hey, maybe I f***ed up by doing x, y, and z and maybe thats why theyre against me". He's the face of " victim rap", Taylor's the face of " victim pop" IMO

  • hayabusa

songs about him not being surprised his friends switched up on him but then he still proceeds to complain about said friends switching up

    is he stupid?

The man that like to play victim

The idea of drake wanting us to believe he took a break from the internet/drama and is just coming back like “what did I miss?” as if he isn’t the most chronically online rapper alive

I think the song went right over your head with this statement alone bro

It's crazy that in this track Meek Mill put a demo of Quentin Miller spitting: "all the real live forever baby, and the fake get exposed"

    Then Drake get exposed, lol.

    how long'd he take?

He took a few days after Back to Back to drop Wanna Know

But he had nothing beforehand while he's the aggressor starter and talked mad s*** along with expose radio showings

It took Drake a few days to drop Charge Up after being exposed on radio n twitter from Meek, Drama n Funk Flex, which was first, and everyone looked weird at meek for not having anything before (which Meek had been teasing a diss track the whole time too including when he exposed Drake)

Then Drake hits again almost a week later with Back to Back, again with no word from meek and this time he went completely silent

And then Drake's "I waited 4 days nigga where y'all at" on BTB killed him and was a line expressing what everyone felt

So then when meek finally responded, he was already clowned to death and Drake already started an entire media campaign around BTB as soon as it released that continued to be used for promo on More Life while being performed for nearly a year at his major IYRTITL/WATTBA tour

Meek looked super silly to everyone for starting it, having all these "theatrics" for Drake exposal and all this s*** talking, but no track at all

Meek was also seen as a shoe-in winner against Drake for his aggressive Rapping style and being a philly battle rapper, but Meek never having a track when it mattered washed away all his credibility and the Drake media campaign turned him into a laughing stock to where he couldn't do anything now

Quentin at the time also not fully going in on Drake and was at the time trying to make Meek look crazy (which led to QM getting jumped by Meek n them) also made Meek look like a fool in the moment too

Meek jumped the gun with no bullets loaded, and that's why he lost

    Cool

Nas also wasn't in the internet age nor was he the aggressor lol

Not did Nas create a bunch of theatrics that included everything but what mattered most, an actual diss track, while talking s*** about hows he's gonna kill him lol then never delivered till it was too late

And if worst comes to worst, it helps if your delayed diss tracks end up being one of the best ever - which Nas' was that even created a ubiquitous Rap culture term, while Meek's wasn't lol

about this new Drake song. I like the song, beat is hard as bricks. It’s got some good bars and it’s catchy. Its just so tone def lacking self awareness. It’s really solidified to me that Drakes whole career he’s been doing what he did on Taylor made, calling out Kendrick for not dropping because of T Swift when on his last project he had a bar saying he did that himself. Now anytime I hear Drake I just think about how he calls people out for being fake friends when he is the fake friend. He is the one giving fake love. I honestly feel like for myself Drake ruined his entire career with every terrible decision he’s made since the beef. He’s showed who he truly is and I can’t even listen to his old music anymore. It’s blaring how fake and immature he is

    Beautifully said
