I love these threads about weed because they completely ignore the concept of moderation. You can just get high at night once you’re done being productive for the day.

lol seriously responsible adults know this. work, run errands, do chores, then get high.
You right OP
But this is the internet so being a weed smoker is a personality trait for these guys
Loving the character development
I believe people should and are made to be active and self determined, but weed makes you a passive and lose agency of your life and destiny
I've been smoking weed for 10 years pretty much daily with some pauses and in that time I've graduated from a top 15 university in the country, got a master's degree, moved in with my parents, moved out of my parents, moved 1500 miles across the country...
I say this not to brag but to illustrate that weed can only hinder you as much as you let it. It's about moderation, timing, and discipline, like the poster above pointed out.

Chores are way better high if you can still get off your ass to do them
Just do coke to even it out you just need some balance
testimony:
bruh i used to care WAY too much about how my clothes fit or matched or how perfectly clean they were, i remember stressing s*** that didnt matter all from years of being conditioned
with weed, i still cared how i look, but i stopped stressing what others thought almost completely
i started smoking weed 8-9 years ago, my first 2 years absolutely cured a lot of my compulsivities as well as my confidence as i was able to spend a lot more time focused on work and my creativity
after 3 years it begins to weigh on u, it becomes counterproductive because u dont get much out of smoking daily compared to spending $100-200 every month on weed alone
after 9 years straight its just annoying lmaoo i smoke way less now than last 2 years - but i fear with today's society, technology, etc, that the sober me would struggle pretty hard for a bit after fully quitting

it's a lot more complicated than that. It all depends on the persons mental health and how/when they started. You'd be surprised how many people started using it as an escape at a very young age
lol seriously responsible adults know this. work, run errands, do chores, then get high.
Big facts niggas already be type lazy, smoke weed and then wanna blame weed. Like nigga you just naturally lazy
it is
dudes who get mad defensive when people say this instead of admitting it does have this effect on many people (even if not them) make me suspicious of their claim it doesn't affect their productivity at all
Chores are way better high if you can still get off your ass to do them
cleaning while high is incredible

I mean, it literally just doesnt. I hear alot of people say stuff like this and it just adds to the stigma that smokers are lazy.

sure it CAN have that effect but I truly believe it comes down to personal willpower if you want to avoid it. like I said above: moderation, discipline, timing.
