If Cole wants to just cruise for the rest of his career dropping the same album over and over it'll always get him 200k first week like it always is with a J.Cole album
But if he wants to create something that people will genuinely talk about for years he needs to take all that effort he put into Revange Of The Dreamers 3 and put it all into his solo album
So no "exec produced by J.Cole" and s*** like that. Let people that get paid millions for it help you find a path
I'm not even that big of a Kendrick fan but look at DAMN. prod credits
Cole won't reach the next level aloneI love Kendrick and he's in my top 5
But he did NOT get where he is alone
Look at the credits for TPAB and DAMN...the talent there is staggering. It's a who's who of incredible musicians and songwriters.
Kanye and Kendrick both do that really well, bringing out the best in great people.
Cole could do that, sometimes he does, but not often enough on his own projects.
