The vast majority of adults hype it up like it’s going to be the next illmatic.
The youngings are not so sure, and have a hard time reconciling why he’s so revered and considered one of the goats of a generation.
The album comes out.
The adults are mostly satisfied, some less than others, but it’s generally a well received piece of work that has its moments of honesty and inspiration.The youngings make NyQuil jokes and absolutely lose their s*** when he does superstar numbers with no gimmicks.
Rinse and repeat.
