SteakOne critique i have about cole in the 20s is that he's been moving away from one of the best things he's good at: song structure. cole is one of the best at writing pre-chorus, melody, hooks, bridges and I am disappointed he's moving away from that to just focus purely on lyricism. All of those things are what made 2014 Forest Hills Dr great.
This is an actually very good point
In his defense, Cole hasnt really dropped any actual albums yet this decade. (The off-season feels like a mixtape ish project)
