Because it's one thing to love someone's music and if you met them, maybe give them a hug and tell them how much you enjoy their work. It's another to allow your life to revolve around them and make up fantasy scenarios in your head about you and the artist.
100% agreed. This is the reason that Twitter and other social media needs to f***ing die.

They literally group themselves together and want to "kill people in charge of the billboards" because their artist they follow didn't do numbers.
