He hates Canadian people bro he said he wasn’t 88glam
No one on this website has EVER heard an 88GLAM song, and if they did they're LYING
There's ZERO proof that they actually exist outside of this guys avy![]()
No offense to anyone on this website who claims to be an 88GLAM fan, this isn't a hate thread (I don't do those)
This is just facts
If anyone comes up to you irl and starts talking about this "88GLAM" just know that your life is probably in dange
He hates Canadian people bro he said he wasn’t 88glam
Holy f***. Yea its a wrap for him
I feel like K Dot literally took OutKast’s style and meshed it with some Soulquarians s*** and some blog era Lupe thrown in. TPAB & Section 80 especially LOL.
Drake reminds me of Mase for a new era mixed in with some Roc-a-fella / Phonte influence (with a dash of Ye thrown in), bros a Canadian New York nigga and can’t nobody tell me different lol
Wouldnt cole's art direction be kanye dropout trilogy derivative mix with nas and pac influence
Funny thing is people like you are always the exception to the rule right? You’re just way too smart and eclectic for us to possibly understand right?
People don’t like what I what like so all forums are trash. The definition of polarizing hyperbole yet you’re the one b****ing and doing it at the same time.
You literally can’t make this s*** up folks. Smh
I wasn't even strictly talking about this thread. Chill.
I'm saying, in general, on rap forums like this, Twitter, the Coli, etc. rappers in general are either called GOAT or trash based on their music.
Maybe it's short attention spans but it seems people are a***yzing music less and just running with popular narratives and memes to judge whether an artist is good or not.
It goes beyond Cole too.
If you think Cole is boring and trash and that's your genuine opinion, I'm not against your POV cause I'm not even a big Cole fan myself.

See that the thing. I realize now everyone thought this was some type of troll thread at first
Is wet dreamz a song you love?
No? But I certainly don’t think it’s a bad song.

I’ve never seen the Nas influence at all tbh lol I see the Nas influence in dudes more like Blu than Cole tbh. I don’t see the Pac either, I see the college dropout influence but it’s like... I could just listen to that trilogy instead

I mean...the way it's worded sounds trollish.
Saying Cole's life is "uninteresting" when he just fulfilled his dream of playing in a basketball team is bad timing if you meant what you said.
And the HBCU joke is kinda played out at this point.
But my point is that not every rapper can be a Ye or a Hov. Cole, to me, is an above average rapper who stays in his lane and stands for positivity.
So he has my respect for that even though I'm not a stan myself.

Pac's influence comes from his delivery and his layman topics.

That’s only a piece of Pac tho, Pac also did stories where he rapped about his gun like it were a woman and what not you feel me? Obviously Cole not gonna do that exact same s*** but still

Nas influence is storytelling and speaking on social issues in a 3rd person view and pac is delivering such in a simple digestible and emotive way.
I mean cole also wrote story songs like me and my girlfriend before
I don’t agree with OP’s tone but there is “slight” truth to this. One critic I have about this album despite loving it is the fact we are 6 albums in and he’s still regurgitating the same s*** about having to grow scrapping first couple times clapping cheeks, etc. it’s relatable in some instances, but I feel like I hear it every album

If Cole perfected it, though, he could be like Pusha T dropping quality albums rapping about the same s***

I get that but it should be pretty clear where cole gets his style from. Not gonna downplay kanye's influence but cole's whole aesthetic comes from pac. And he does have records like nas and pac where he raps from a different perspective and s***.
