Huh I’m not talking about charts or sales 😭 I’m saying the random mfs I see on Instagram and Twitter and the cars I pull up next to are enjoying this record lol
I mean yeah those the people pushing it on the charts lol them say folks thing Scorpion a classic.
Same people Cole fans would hate any other time is all I mean like if you used that argument to say Drake was better then Cole they'd be pissed.
That's all my point is dawg just funny
So anything that sells shouldnt be criticized?
Never said that. I simply said you said it's not working for j cole. I just said you should modify it to say "it's not working for me". Those are two different situations.
I’ve never understood the J Cole hate. S*** makes no sense lmao, but y’all wanna suck Kendrick up every time he makes a boring ass album
wutang s***s on anything cole has ever dropped
to me, I dont find this to be true musically. But if one said this, I don't have a problem with it.
Cole is half white and was born in Germany so the whites can slander him tbh

Not working to make good albums

Ahhh yeah yeah I get what you mean lol
Its bothering yall this much J Cole dropped a great album?
Niggas been getting him since he came out
Drake and J Cole will never be universally praised
I think both sides have a point here.
Cole doesn't try to be left field too much and, when he does, it's not that great(See: Kill Edward). He keeps to himself, barely posts much on social media, lives life as a married man raising his kid, pursuing his basketball dream, and co-signed rappers in different lanes than him like Young Thug.
By all means, Cole is a likeable/positive person in a genre that's sadly rampant with negativity. He's the guy you want to see winning and doing big things just off principle.
But, at the same time, Cole isn't a groundbreaking artist at all. He doesn't really push boundaries. And I can see how that can make him polarizing because people are trying to see how Cole can be as successful as he is just being a "jack of all trades, master of none."
But I respect Cole for his contributions and staying true to himself. Cole was one of the first people to say that chasing hits or appealing to critics wasn't his lane and he's proven it time and time again.
Ktt only rap that’s super weird or street s***. If you not experimenting heavily or talking about opps you’re boring.
Posters like OP are bored in the suburbs so they live through these street rappers for entertainment
But j cole's idol is tupac. That's his favorite rapper. And no, no nigga from the marcy projects says "im from the actual hood"
I would say it’s when you’re a talented rapper but not especially creative
J Cole should’ve been a member of a group, not a solo artist
I think both sides have a point here.

So it’s basically just a J Cole hate thread
"Yes nigga the f***, how do you think we talk?"
Also are we rating the lifes of people now?
You fav rapper morning routine is overrated af
