My theory is still that someone told Cole how ugly this beef was going to get and Cole did not want to go there.
Cole did a song apologizing to Nas for dropping a radio hit
he’s that type of guy
Can’t believe i let nas down

That doesn’t make any sense. If Drake hyped him up and set him up to release first, why would Cole go on this track and defend Drake’s magic pen and say he still loves him?
Cause it coulda very easily been a prisoner of the moment situation with how quick the tape came out and them having just finished tour, especially since the song sounds entirely different from the rest of the tape like it was made with the types of producers who were on Drake’s tour
Actually I’m pretty sure Conductor one of the producers so the theory fits
And that shows in his music too
Kendrick and Drake are the ones who have experimented and taken risks in their music, Cole does not.
It's not even just the unwillingness to not experiment. It's just his music in general feels like very by the book rap. It's like regular vanilla ice cream. Or like going to a restaurant and ordering chicken fingers. Sure it hits the spot and it's hard to go wrong. But it's just so...limiting.
which side do you believe cole stands on in regards to Kendrick and drake
Tough to say
I 100% think he took Kenny side by stepping out of the beef, but I also think he wants to be on good terms with Drake again and make it known that he has no problems with Drake on his end.
I think Cole ultimately just wishes he had never gotten involved with the beef because it wasn’t his fight and it ended up making him look spineless.
And why does it seem like Cole has rapped over Dead Presidents 100 times already.
My theory is still that someone told Cole how ugly this beef was going to get and Cole did not want to go there.
Yeah they were saying Schoolboy Q hit him up and told him the beef wasn't about to be what he thought it was and that he wasn't built for it. Then he backed out lmao
"just to sway the whole thing on social media, competing for ya favorable memes"
is he dissin both of em now??
My silence is enough to make niggas apologize
Mfs really think this was fake

It was ScHoolboy Q that told him
He ended up playing a bigger role in the beef behind the scenes then we thought
Tough to say

I’m very surprised that drake hasn’t learned his lesson after two beefs
he’s never going to have the public’s support
And why does it seem like Cole has rapped over Dead Presidents 100 times already.
This isn’t dead presidents
Can’t believe i let nas down

Cole apologized to Nas for making a radio single when Nas has made a few mainstream joints himself
Did a sit down interview with Lil Pump who spent a whole year s***ting on him for no good reason
Like lmao I don’t know if niggas gassed him up to do the diss record but I would t be surprised if that was the situation
Jermaine Cole is the greatest rapper of all time
See… I love Cole it just doesn’t hit as good as KENDRICK LAMAR IS THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIMD

He said Nas heard you’re single and he hate that s***

It’s obviously the situation lol drake even gave him the beat

he’s never going to have the public’s support
He’s not the darling of hip-hop anymore and it’s something that clearly bothers Drake on the surface.
That dude was adored from 2015-2018, even losing the Pusha T beef didn’t do that much when his album was a smash hit and he had the biggest singles of his career that year.
But those days are over and he hasn’t been approaching anything recently in a careful sense. He’s at the crossroads right now.
