OHMNIDepends what you look for in rap
i think its fair to say there’s better songs on Dark Times, that i agree with wholeheartedly
but yeah it ultimately boils down to what you’re looking for in these verses

As far as I'm concerned, the Whitney line on Push Ups was about Whitney Houston in Bodyguard because that's the only way the line makes sense in context and so that wasn't a personal jab at Kendrick.
Kendrick started with the personal jabs. I know it's impossible for you to hold Kendrick accountable for anything but even a stupid person understands the way things happened in this beef and who made things personal first and that was none other than Kendrick. Remain in denial if you want.
the Whitney bodyguard line was absolutely a double entendre and was most certainly a jab. might not have been Drake saying explicitly that Whitney was f***ing bodyguards or sumn but he absolutely was alluding to sumn by having it on the record

I agree but I think that was mostly meant as a shot to people like akademiks and joe budden. Joe was literally in an ep post beef saying he needs drake to beef with someone again cause thats how he makes money
