Iām 100% certain Drake is on the album
that would be terrible
If this album isnāt clearly his best and a classic heās failed.

1985 (the intro to the fall off) is a lil pump diss track
not off to a good start
that would be terrible

I don't think dot or drake f***ing with that nigga rn tbh
DAMN. was literally a surprise album what are we talking about? More Life had songs that came out months before and it doesn't matter what he presented it as, he announced the project 4 months before it dropped
More life was only available digitally.
Over 50% of DAMN.'s first-week units came from traditional album sales (353,000 pure sales)
Tyler and Travis looking at this talk likeā¦
I separate out the generations differently
Tylerās from the blog era. He literally got hot before Kendrick got hot. Heās probably 5th or 6th behind Drake, Cole, Kendrick, Future and maybe Nicki for that class
I feel like Trav and Thug came out after and kind of had their own era.
YB, Uzi and Carti were very clearly part of a generation inspired by Thug and Trav. It doesnāt make sense to compare them to their OGs
Not sure if Iām articulating myself well. Hopefully that makes sense lol
More life barely had a rollout tho, damn. has Kendrickās biggest song oat up until nlu
biggest rap song of 2010s tbh
More life was only available digitally.

More life had 72 tracks on the track list damn had 5

Tyler didnāt breakthrough radio until 2017 right at the same time as Travis
always grouped them together

Kendrick fans buy physicals
YB, Carti and Uzi already occupy this space for a certain group of people (Thug and especially Future are part of a different class and arenāt really contemporaries with Carti)
Those 3 donāt really make music that crosses over to pop to the same extent which is probably a big part of why hip hops not on the charts as heavy
Havana #1 hit out now

it also lost a day of sales

Uzi has hits, no?
Just reminded myself J cole gave himself an alter ego which he rapped through a bane voice filter to feature himself on songs oh lord that might be the corniest gimmick anyone in the big 3 has done
Yeah tbh I dont how he meets any expectations even before the beef it would of been hard to.
He's lyrically at his best now, I just need to see more from him production wise and songwriting wise.
He hasn't done many actual songs because his last 2 projects were emulating mixtapes but he did say TFO was more conceptual, so we'll see
Kendrick fans buy physicals
Drake fans too so if he had physicals for more life he would have sold more than Kendrick ,let's not act like Kendrick has ever had a bigger fan base than Drake, its okay to be number 2 behind a rap/pop artist
Tyler didnāt breakthrough radio until 2017 right at the same time as Travis

You might have a point
Goblin and Wolf felt huge to me when they dropped. But that may have been in the bubble I was in
Iām looking back at the sales on those and itās wayyyyy less than I would have guessed
