prolly meaning like back in the day when people would steal cd;s at their jobs. but even currently its changing. artists are finally realizing to do global releases not local releases. its literally just a check box when you upload album to streaming services.

Genuine question, but how does one gauge consensus & come to a conclusion on anything online when every app has a tailored algorithm for what you like interacting with?

they have firmly established contracts via their distributor with the streaming services, so anything that was a local release was intentional unless they fully independent lol

If youâre not engaging with Cole content or following people who do, you probably wonât ever see any discussion about the album. After the Drake album, this is probably the most anticipated rap album this year in my opinion. Very excited.

itâs maddening, people spin something once and want to put out a bunch of think pieces about itIon know man that Don't Be Dumb rollout and post rollout has been pretty heat. The lead up with the singles, then the interviews during the release week, and the things Rocky is doing now after the release have been cool and keeping him and the album in the public sphere.
Gotta give props to him, the way he dropped his album I feel should set a great tone for the rest of hip-hop releases this year. Hoping more artists follow suit, I wanna see more of them starting to give a s*** again.
