depending on who you ask, that could be a good or a bad thing imo. I wasnt overly offended or turned off by most of it, but I made it clear I was in for some J cole generational corn anyway. Maybe 2? 3? misses for me, and i dont really think they absolutely stink, just different for cole.

i feel like this is a very solid offering, and quite possibly still his best overall album. It is lengthy, but I think Weeknd proved you can do that properly still, so as a listen and journey, the album works for me. Its a solid 8 for me, i got what i wanted out of it myself, way more hits than misses for me. Not an album I will revisit in full again, but i'll keep a good few joints on here in a list
