Feb 6Experiment626I think the narrative he created around this album doesnāt do the actual music justice because it is a really strong project but i canāt see it being strong enough to negate criticism. Its great but not undeniably great which is a hard thing to achieve in the first place but the narrative he placed on this created too high of expectations
Overall I know I really loved what I heard for the most part. For me Disc 2 will most likely be my go to but Disc 1 is solid as well
cole is known to do that, which has never helped.
leaving not much to mystery and explaining when he doesn't need to.
FHD came out of nowhere when it did and definitely affected the narrative

I'm not mad at that song at all, I can see why he made it and how the Drake and Kendrick beef inspired it, same for I Love Her Again
That's another reason why I thought it was lame and I could immediately tell he was trying to draw parallels between the Pac-BIG beef and the Kendrick-Drake beef.
