why this called the fall off
Cole explaining why it's called The Fall Off without mentioning The Warm Up or The Come Up or The Offseason
Okay brother. Sure thing

Game reviewed the album
He is right that TwoSix sounds like a Drake song. Was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard it. I also have pretty much the same opinion on which songs I would rate high or low on disc 1.
I am not that big on Disc 2 as he is but overall a pretty good review
I could’ve done without the multiple love songs on this tbh
Life Sentence was everything the album needed in that department

I was fighting to just listen to the song for itself first listen with no thoughts besides what I’m listening to but it distractingly sounds like it’s trying to be a Drake song

“The Fall-Off from the success of FHD”
Cole has needed to lock in with singers more than he ever needed another rapper on his song. Doesn’t have a terrible singing voice he just sings the same note every time

Almost his whole catalog is doing the sports career theme. It's not that deep. What comes up must fall down.
Framing it as some epiphany he had like King David

Feel like he stretched it more here
Pause
But I agree In general

I enjoy the album for the most part tho
Like what does this even have to do with enjoying music tho I’ve never understood this mindset
what’s understood on my behalf doesn’t really need explaining.
Tems was really one of the highlights
She killed it
I enjoy the album for the most part tho
Yeah it’s a solid body of work
It’s not without its flaws but overall happy with it

Great news that’s the second part of my statement. That outlook has nothing to do with enjoying music
Bombs In The Ville/Hit The Gas is top 5
That last verse
I gotta listen more cause I love the back half but the first I can’t get into

oh okay, fam.
Facts so many ways he could’ve actually explored the concept of the fall off and he barely even referenced it just talked about all the fake gangsters in the Ville the whole album lol
I haven’t even given it much thought but he could have also talked about how the rap game as a whole has fallen off, pretty much every one but Kendrick is incapable of dropping a classic rn
im wondering if hes completely done with everything including features after this tho
grippy being the last feature ever is kinda insane in hindsight.
Thats why rappers really need to drop damn interviews again when they drop albums man

Some people just aren't chosen to see the divine vision of Jermaine Cole. And it shows.

He could go the Andre route but I truly think he will be back at some point on one Hov s***
