Man up above is my s***. Replay it like 5 times when it starts to play before it goes to the next song

It sounds more like Cole doing a Future impersonation than Future

Nah it’s just funny cause the night it dropped that was the debate on here

But yeah it’s just Future without auto tune fr

“Pray for forgiveness the Lords wraith will astonish you”

“They wonder why I stay in the house more. Get paid for going in, tf I’m going out for?”

Are the lines that always stick out to me for some reason

    No it doesn’t

  • Jim Halpert

    No it doesn’t

It lowkey does, mostly just the one line: “ten toes is down on the pavement”

It sounds a little bit like pitched down Cole vocals, but it’s obviously Future

People are finally waking up to how good this album is.

There should be a review embargo on albums for like a week from professional publications and the reviewer should be required to listen multiple times and read the lyrics. These publications rush to be the first to release a review instead of actually honoring the art they are reviewing

If I reviewed this album the first time I heard it I would’ve gave it like a 6.5/10 just because it subverted my expectations so jarringly

Now after letting it marinate properly and allowing my brain to actually process what’s going on I give it a 8.8/10 and I’ve been around that score for a few days now, easily one of my favorite rap albums of the decade could be recency bias but I genuinely can’t think of one I enjoyed more

Yeah I agree. 1 listen rushed reviews shouldn’t be a thing.

I’ve seen critics dismiss Safety as homophobic. It’s not difficult to understand that he’s rapping from a regressive point of view while acknowledging that it’s wrong. If you can’t understand that then you shouldn’t be reviewing music.

The hate for Cole is fueled by bias and agenda.

They gonna keep doing this s*** not just to Cole but to everyone not on their darling list (Used to be Ye now it’s Dot)

I literally was thinking of doing a petition or something because I’m tired of it. They really misrepresenting our culture

I thought it was cole tbh and it was pissing me off cos i was thinking bruh just call future if you need a future sounding hook

  • Nix

Promo for this album is amazing

It’s dope cause he hasn’t really done any high budget promo for this.

It’s straight up back to the roots old school type promoting and it’s working so well

  • This album’s amazing. Top 5 rap album this decade tbh. This album really reminded my why Cole’s special

  • Run A Train just brings up so much emotions. Cole and Future is actually a good collab

  • IN MY MIND IM
    GOING TO CAROLINAAAA
