They cool they just both kinda weaker lyrically which is like 80% of the reason I fw Cole lol
Also I’m tired of NPCs being like “Born Sinner the best j Cold album 😊”

Born Sinner has potential but coles drums are trash on there

Love Born Sinner, don't like KOD
I listened to Born Sinner recently and it’s actually a great project. For me it loses momentum from “Aint That Some S***” and onwards
Surprised he includes the Off Season in this
Where does this leave It’s A Boy Jermaine
Wouldn't that be the same since it's about his life. He said he might drop it later instead iirc
Surprised he includes the Off Season in this
Was always meant to be a stepping stone to get better for TFO. He originally had it as as a mixtape
The Off-Season symbolizes the work that it takes to get to the highest height. The Off-Season represents the many hours and months and years it took to get to top form. Just like in basketball, what you see him do in the court, that s*** was worked on in the summertime. So for an athlete, if they take their career seriously and if they really got high goals and want to chase them, the offseason is where the magic really happens, where the ugly s*** really happens, where the pain happens, the pushing yourself to uncomfortable limits.

For sure but given the name and the theme of this it should still fit into the whole Basketball career journey he's been painting.
Also it's one of his best strictly rapping.
LETS RUN AWAAAAAYY

Surprised he includes the Off Season in this
Yeah he threw me off with that too
I thought the series was:
The Come Up
The Warm Up
Friday Night Lights
Sideline Story
The Off Season
The Fall Off
Yeah he threw me off with that too

The Fall Off
That's exactly what I thought.
If he describes it as "practice" like in a baller's off season then it should still count too
Disc 39 clears
Just came to say this, Disc 39 is amazing and the better side for sure.
