What I’ve always thought was, it’s a project dedicated to his son since on the offseason he brought up his son for the first time and how it’s been changing his perspective on continuing to be a rapper or falling back to raise his son to be a man

It ties into the fall off concept

So mini doc with music attached to It’s A Boy after this then we get a major Fall Off cycle in 2026 or 2027

I always thought somewhat the same. It seemed like a very personal project in whatever capacity that would be. Just don’t know if his original plan will come to fruition since it seems like so much has happened since KOD where The Fall Off was first teased. I mean that was literally almost 7 years ago lol

It's wild by the time he drops this album it'll be close to a decade from when he first announced it. It'd be hard to think of other artists who've done something similar

I think Might Delete Later threw off the plan. Maybe some of those songs were for It’s A Boy and it was supposed to be out before these pods. Man idk now…Dot f***ed it up haha

100% agree this s*** got totally derailed by the beef although I’m curious what the original plan was for the Inevitable s*** because clearly this was already in motion for about two years now

And this project never got hinted at anywhere?

Bro I’m saying I know we’re well beyond hypotheticals but I really want to know what happened in those convos. Like I really believe the goal was to try to make this more than a “big 3 moment” and they may wanted to parlay this into some superstar takeover….Kendrick was presumed to at least have the concept of GNX (based on his finsta)…Cole working on this + MDL/It’s A Boy/The Fall Off….Drake touring and inevitably (no pun intended) making Cole a co-headliner. Idk man I’m with you something crazy must have happened

Yea. But I’m starting to think, knowing Cole, it’s gonna be some long form video documentary about himself/his mom/his son or some s*** this whole time haha everyone just assumed music

In his interview with Yachty at the end of 2023, he said the audio series was coming at the start of 2024

I’m assuming he was gonna drop MDL and the audio series at the same time

He then panic dropped MDL with the diss on it and pushed this till the end of the year
