"Black Mediocrity needs to be a common thing"
C'mon
Yeah but that's not me "supporting" I'm just preferring the lesser of two evils. I'm still allowed to think it's trash despite that.
All the more reason why I support the success of artist like Lil Nas X, Roddy Rich and Saweetie.
Black Mediocrity needs to be a common thing, black people got to fly to get to the same place white people could just uber to.
lmao
thats like me saying s*** like "oh i support NF cause i need white people to make it in rap"
just listen to what sounds good to your ears bro, not everything needs to be a battle

I love my people too much.
A black person will always earn extra points in my book for anything that they do, just for being black.

if you dont see whats wrong with that, i dont know what to tell you man
hope you stop seeing the world in these classes and races society puts up
black people arent better or worse than others, theyre just people, like every other race
Jack Harlow is the white DaBaby. Every flow is the same, all songs sound alike, similar writing style.
Jack Harlow is nowhere near as big as DaBaby, who is one of the hottest rappers out rn.
So, I don’t think being white gives you a key to success in this genre.
I do however think that once you reach success in the genre, you can be catapulted even higher if you’re white, because you’ll have more of an appeal to a white audience. (Ala Post Malone)
This effect can even help make your team bigger than they would have been even if they are not white (like Eminem did to D12 & 50 Cent not saying 50 wouldn’t have been big, but GRODT wouldn’t be blasted by soccer moms without eminem
But Eminem needed that co-sign by Dre to be taken seriously, so again, it’s harder to break out as a white rapper but once you do you will usually get even bigger than comparable artists around you
Storch created arguably the most iconic piano chords in the history of rap
Yeah I think it's completely different for producers because it's based entirety on music and not image.

I agree, hence why I'm pushing for black Mediocrity.
