it sucks tho the narrative is written already especially on here even if this is some fire y’all are not gonna give him that credit lol
A classic album can change the narrative

he shouldn’t have to put out a classic though is what i’m saying
i rly don’t think that last album was as bad as everyone makes it out to be to justify this hate train for him and his music
did i like the album? no
do i think that album is the worst piece of music ever conceived? also no

Mac Miller had that same stigma before he started dropping classics, it is what it is, need him to make some undeniable fire
I appreciate that he didn't go out of his way to try to defend his last album and just went back into the lab to work on another one. I just hope whatever he ended up with as the final product is compelling enough.
Ready to hear more mid

true actually

i feel you on that, maybe a true classic really is needed
He let the bigger budget on the last album get to him. Somehow he was more unique on his debut than the second one.

It's literally only because he was talking so much s*** about being "the best in his generation" and all that. Naturally if u start talking the talk people are gonna tune in to see if u can walk the walk too. Plus the drake feat had people's hype and expectations high

does that warrant the amount of hate and backlash the album got and still gets ? at the end of the day it’s just a rapper talking his s***, he didn’t reinvent the wheel w that
jack is a decent rapper technically but the experience is where he really fumbled
he had NOTHING to rap about on his last album except girls but without the swag of his debut
The thing about this album cover is whoever scanned the film (assuming it was a third party) paid for the cheaper and lowest resolution option
Also the fact that it looks like a cheap disposable was used
So, it looks cheap because it was cheap

Jack's a young smart guy,
I'm sure any cheap look u getting from the artwork is intentional.
I agree with you that it looks washed and shoulda been more vibrant, hell, I think the whole concept is trash but I think we can safely say he has enough budget to achieve whatever vision he has..its just the vision for this project isn't that good lmao

yea i’m looking at his past artworks and they’re all pretty dry in terms of color with the exception of his debut
