If we calling a spade a spade then that same album allowed him to tour in front of 200k people in less than a month. Name me ANY other current gen rapper who’s done that, let alone headline their own tour. Stop letting the Internet critics and BS numbers control the facts happening in real life
Did that album do that or his white heritage
True but it wouldn’t even apply to Jack cause he’s not challenging in any way outside of being white I guess. If he was truly challenging then the discourse would make sense
I just mean the critics would rather not do something challenging. Meaning instead of doing literally anything else in the world, they'd rather sit around and pass judgement because anything else requires at least some effort.
And yet it could have been twice as big. There's a reason he's kept a low profile music-wise since then - he knows he can do better.
Just because it did numbers doesn't mean it was a success. The last Lil Baby album did over 200k but the expectations were even higher and it didn't reach them
Nigga no one is talking about weekly sales
I'm talking actual foot traffic to the show. Paying customers across 22 states and 200k people who came to see Jack Harlow perform his album that supposedly flopped. You still stuck on the sales numbers. I’m saying he’s successful and proved it with the tour, which a lot of rappers, including Lil Baby, can’t do
It’s a good time for a comeback
They also released the trailer for the upcoming movie he features in

That Lil Baby album had some really good legs tho

This is true. Look at all the famous and successful white rappers. Countless. And rappers from Kentucky. Most A list rappers are white guys from Kentucky.

With labels, and even the artists themselves, it’s about optics to an extent. He’s successful, and out the mud forever, but he has a goal to be a respected and hailed figure in hip hop and the optics on social media and such say otherwise and really nowadays that’s what matters to your image.
I’m sure that man knows he was the heartthrob at one point and could easily just have fallen into the fast food music easy hits, and he doesn’t want to.
That’s what makes this release more compelling than the average. You can expect each such song of this album to be quality and cohesive to the actual project. It’s not that complicated. Dude wants that recognition and is going that route
In terms of rappers of under 30, Jack is in the top 3, undoubtedly.
Who are the others
