Yeah, it sounds unfinished. Maybe he adds a lot more to the song before dropping it but the tweet he posted seems like he's ready to drop it already and I don't know about that song as a single.

Why do we have to say this, though? He could very well go on to just have a decent, successful career. The throne is a VERY HUGE deal. It always feels like people are reaching when they say he's next up to get that spot.
That's fair as a general statement, but personally I don't see that potential in a lot of people so I felt the need to just put it on print to say that I feel that way. Only other person I thought could've been next up was Chance and he fumbled that completely

I think the potential to reach the height Drake has reached doesn't exist in ANY of the new cats. None of them have what it takes to reach those heights.
It doesn't mean they can't have long, successful mainstream careers.
That's what I don't get with the Jack/Drake comparisons. Drake is 1 of 1. You get his type maybe once every generation.
I can definitely see Jack going on to have a long and illustrious career but Drake-level is something else. Basically unreachable.

I feel like right when they cut he was going back in. I don't mind him letting the sample ride, but then the song basically depends on solid verses which is give or take with Jack.
