In the entertainment industry the worst thing you can be is boring

Yeah i even gave it a 2nd spin after i hated almost everything after 1st time

4 tracks are cool and Drake the highlight of the album still, even after the 2nd listen

dua lipa kinda hard i guess

production really fire on this one so far but jack's performance is pretty whatever so far honestly

he tends to get kinda a lil montonous to me honestly

I’d add “I got a shot” if he had a bit more energy and was less monotonous

Oh well. Growing pains I guess.

Prob means i only gave pretty good albums a spin after that lol. And this just so mid its gets bad, esp in comparison with the albums we've got these past weeks. Put this next to Future or Pusha lol, that makes it even worse. Kendrick prob gon make it even worse next week lol

Uhhh, I’m on the drake song right now.

7/10 is too high for this album, it’s more like a 5 tbh. But that’s arbitrary and besides the point

I really wanna save a song on here but nothing it’s enough to make me wanna add it. There’s just something there that’s almost missing every time that makes everything feel “meh”

I was 4 songs in and didn’t even slightly enjoy anything until First Class which was the single

I Got A Shot is probably my favorite so far. The features are good and do good. Yeah Drake is washing Harlow rn on this verse

The drake influence is obvious he does it well but he needs to add his own personality imo. He’s a great guy charaismatic person, perfect for acting but like over music it rarely shows and he’s clearly mechanically skilled. He just sounds uninspired idk. He kills his features though

its like its cool if i heard any of these as a single i think but a whole album of it gets a bit boring

but besides the production it sounds kinda like same tracks honestly it really is pretty monotonous

its ok but he doesnt switch it up with his delivery or vocals at all

He just needs to get into the lab with a vocal coach and bring in some rappers to help him experiment with flows

I do like the bounce to a lot of the prod tho

honestly yeah

jack is nice chill and background music for me tbh but thats it really nothing breathtaking at all

And he didn't take the best qualities from either of them.

Jack named dropped so much that he made me feel like listening to those songs instead of the damn album.

For nearly the whole album this guy was using barely any vocal changes and kept it monotone the entire time. (Drake)

If it wasn't for beat changes and production I wouldn't know we were on a new song.

The songs where he did use his voice were the most interesting.
